Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) program is initiated by the Malaysian Government which is designed to provide long-term visas for residents of those countries officially recognized by Malaysia, regardless of their race, religion, gender, or age.

The program offers a minimum renewable 5 years multiple-entry social visit pass, making it a popular choice for retirees, expatriates, and investors seeking to enjoy Malaysia’s rich culture, affordable lifestyle, and warm climate.

The latest MM2H programme introduces in 2024 have a three-tiered system, namely the Silver, Gold and Platinum tiers, where the participants will be classified into different groups based on their eligibility. Those who fulfil the criteria of the Programme Applicants are allowed to bring their spouses, unmarried children below the age of 34, parent & parent-in-law as dependents.

Applicants are allowed to bring their children who are below 34 years old and not married as dependents under the MM2H program. They can study in Malaysia by applying student pass.

Applicant are allowed to bring their parents and parents-in-law above the age of 60 to Malaysia.

MM2H Visa Holders can enjoy tax exemption benefits in Malaysia under the Double Taxation Treaty. Income tax charged on territory basis instead of on a worldwide scope basis.

Process Flow

#1 Initial Consultation

To provide general information and advice for the MM2H Program.

#2 Application confirmation

Once we received confirmation from you to proceed with the MM2H program, we shall collect the handling fee from you.

#3 Prepare application documents

Applicant is to provide all related documents in English.

#4 Submission of documents

Once we have collected your documents, we shall submit the application documents to the government department.

#5 Government preliminary review

The government reviews and decide the outcome of the application.

#6 Review result (conditional approval)

Applicants are to stay in Kuala Lumpur for 7 days to do the following:

  • Purchase medical insurance
  • Open Bank Account and Fixed Deposit Account
  • Pay for social visa pass
  • Document Preparation

    Letter of Good Conduct
    Marriage certificate (if accompany by spouse)
    Birth certificate (if accompany by children)
    Medical report
